Lukas Rand Tetsuwan Minimate - Tournament of Fighters

Lukas Rand Tetsuwan Minimate - Tournament of Fighters
The 5th annual Charitymates customizing event brings you the Tournament of Fighters!
Bob Harris introduces Lukas Rand, the man they call Tetsuwan! A young man, raised in Japan to become a samurai, later traveling his country as a hero for hire after his master died. He's called Tetsuwan - Iron Arm - because of his steam powered prosthesis, created by no other than Hattori Hanzō and Jules Verne.
Lukas Rand is highly inspired by Luke Cage and Iron Fist and lives in the Furyous Basterds Universe, a steampunk inspired 19th Century. You can see more pics, read the backstory and get the recipe after the jump. And don't miss your chance to buy Lukas Rand in June.

Enki the Forsaken Minimate - Tournament of Fighters

Enki the Forsaken Minimate - Tournament of Fighters
The 5th annual Charitymates customizing event brings you the Tournament of Fighters! Customizer Punisher introduces Enki the Forsaken! Once a proud Shogun warrior, his soul is now trapped in a suit of armor for eternity.
I really like the details on that one, like the tengu mask he's wearing (although it has a nose!) and the very cool and detailed helmet. But the one thing that stands out most are the banners on his back. A great idea to include this very iconic feature of a smurai in battle. There are more pics and the backstory of the Enki the Forsaken Minimate right after the jump. And don't forget, you will be able to buy Enki pretty soon!

Shamrock shows off, that he isn't just a great customizer - I mean, look at the details, man! -, but has also a great sense of humor! That backstory of Dr. Miceon is just great! You can see A LOT more pics and read the complete backstory right after the jump. And don't forget, there will be the chance to buy the Dr. Irwin B. Miceon Charity Minimate!

Tournament of Fighters Minimates

Tournament of Fighters Minimates
The 5th annual Charitymates customizing event brings you the Tournament of Fighters! Customizer BrobotC is highly productive and donates five fighters to the Tournament. You got from left to right: a petty thief possessed by an evil spirit, a demon warrior from Hell, the Tournaments first champion locked in a body with thousands of evil souls, a martial arts master trained by the elemental gods themselves, and robot created by an evil scientist, developing a mind of his own.
They really work well together and could easily be regarded as charaters from a video game, right? I like Cain, the guy on the right most, because the half man half machine thing works pretty cool on him. Don't forget: you will be able to buy every single one of them!

Kodiak Minimate - Tournament of Fighters

Kodiak Charity Minimate - Tournament of Fighters
The 5th annual Charitymates customizing event brings you the Tournament of Fighters!
Customizer Mini Myte presents Kodiak, a mighty warrior known to the Native American people of North America by many names. Legend has it, he once was a young man wanting to fight the great bear god Uzumati, but was defeated and cursed. Is it just a legend?
The Kodiak Charity Minimate is just great. Mini Myte once more shows of his sculpting and painting skills. That bear headdress is just awesome! And I really enjoy the backstory of his fighter. Very well done! You can see a lot more pics and read the complete backstory after the jump. And don't forget: Kodiak will soon be for sale!

Boyd sculpted this incredible Japanese oni mask for his Sasu Charity Minimate. It has great details and looks fantastic on this guy, doesn't it? Very well done. Boba Fett Minimate
OK folks. This might be as good as it gets. Seriously, this Boba Fett Minimate is freaking amazing! The sculpting, details and paint job are spot on! You can even fold down his visor-thingy on the helmet! Outstanding job by one of the finest customizers over at MMMV, Shamrock. You can see A LOT more pics right after the jump.

Iron Spider Man Minimate

Iron Spider Man Minimate
Over the years we got 40 different Spider-Man 'mates and only a few of them really stand out. One of these could have been Iron Spider, that Stark Industries suit Peter had for a short time during the Civil War. Well, the one thing that reallly made this incredible are the three mechanical spider-arms the suit features, that can be used to see around corners and to manipulate objects indirectly. Well we got an official Iron Spider Man Minimate but DST didn't include the tentacles. Bummer. BUT, customizer youbastards did an incredible job to change this. I know, Spidey had only three arms, but YB used the four additional arms that came with the Marvel Legends figure, though. There are some more great pics right after the jump.

Larfleeze Minimate

Larfleeze Minimate
Fellow customizer MiniMyte asked me to check out a custom he calls "worthy to be showcased", so without further ado, let's have a look! Psyguy presents non other than the primary wielder of the Orange light of avarice, Larfleeze. Who knows the charater knows also, this guy can't be presented as a vanilla 'mate. Instead, Psyguy did a truly amazing job not only to give this Larfleeze Minimate his tall and gangly proportions, but did also some outstanding sculpting on Agent Orange's head. Great work and another example of what a DC line might have given us! Have a closer look and get the whole recipe right after the jump.
