Since his introduction in 1992, we've seen a lot of different Spawn characters and variations of his black outfit with the chains, spikes, skulls and the large red cape. Still, this might be the most iconic of all his looks. And customizer Les Koting did an incredible job on his Spawn Minimate here! The sculpting of his armor, skulls and the cape are outstanding, although the über-detailed parts don't really blend in with the rest of the current Minimate line. But why should they? You can have a closer look at this custom, see a lot more pics including work in progress, right after the jump.

Doctor Doom Minimate
Doctor Doom is one of the greatest comic book villains ever created. He's one of those old school bad guys on a mission, but he's also a monarch which makes things complicated. And kudos for combining both, the power of science and the power of magic! AA/DST already took five shots at a Doctor Doom Minimate so far, but this custom here might capture his likeness best. Customizer Fwoosheyman did this job with some reused parts and a little bit of paint! Great parts selection on this one! I guess this is very close to what people might consider the definitive Doom. Go ahead and read all about the used parts right after the jump.

Mystique Minimate
Mystique is probably one of the greatest female supervillains ever created, bending the world to their desire and getting away with it. Now we already have an official Mystique Minimate and although she looks pretty nice. But compared with the current minimate standards and the great details they come with nowadays, an update might be nice. That's what customizer Psyguy must have thought, since he came up with a new Mystique Minimate in her Dark X-Men costume. See those details I was talking about? He even gave her the red shoe soles! Go have a closer look and get the recipe after the jump.

Cyber Minimate
Created in the early 1990s, Cyber is part of Wolverine's rouges gallery and once even gouged out one of Wolverine's eyes. Thanks to his adamantium skin he even survived being struck by a passing train. Customizer Mattallica did a pretty good job on this Cyber Minimate, using 2.5" Minimate arms sculpted arms to bulk him up in all his adamantium covered greatness. But the best thing might be the head Matt's chosen. Combined with the mask he has just the perfect evil grin! Have a closer look and see another pic right after the jump.

Six-Armed Shocker Minimate
Shocker! He's that guy from Spidey's rouges gallery who has a pair of gauntlets that can project a concentrated blast of air that is vibrated at an intense frequency. Now multiply that by three and you have: Six-Armed Shocker! Thrice the fun! Wait, six-armed? Well yes, right off Amazing Spider-Man #669! Customizer Boyd sure was faster than anybody else to come up with this Six-Armed Shocker Minimate. AA/DST recently released an official Six-Armed Spider-Man Minimate, but while the part giving him the additional arm pegs also bulked him a little too much, Boyd glued the additional arm pegs right to the torso. Slick! So please DST, have this in mind before you give us a Spiral Minimate. You can view more pics and read about the recipe after the jump.

Young Avengers Patriot Minimate
Elijah Bradley, the Black Cap America's grand son, is the leader of the Young Avengers and is going by the name Patriot. Originally being on M.G.H. (Mutant Growth Hormone) to gain super powers, he now got some droplets of Super Soldier Serum from gramps, so he's a real decent super guy. Customizer Psyguy's is currently working on the team and did a great Young Avengers Patriot Minimate in his current uniform. It's very simple and pure, but uses great decal designs to match the character's appearance. You can have a closer look and read about the recipe after the jump.

Spawn Minimate
When Spawn made his debut in the early 1990s I really enjoyed it. Very dark, very disturbing, very anti-heroic and a very cool origin story. With time passing, I stopped reading it, but I still think Spawn has a kick ass outfit! And what else do you need for a minimate, right? So here's a Spawn Minimate by Bob Harris including his iconic cape and those cool chains! Fun thing about the chains is, because of a very thin wire worked into the chains, you are able to bend them just the way you like. You can see a lot more pics right after the jump.

Psycho Norman Bates Minimate
"Infamous for its shower scene, but immortal for its contribution to the horror genre", says Rotten Tomatoes and I don't want to object. Customizer Luke did his take on the Hitchcock movie and he did well! You'll get them all: Norman Bates as Norman Bates, Norman Bates as Mother, his actuall mother in her rocking chair and sweet-but-not-innocent-at-all Marion Crane. No wonder some people did take it as an official release, since Luke designed and customized a packaging for the box set, too. "She might have fooled me, but she didn't fool my mother." Classy. You can have a closer look at all four Psycho Minimates including the packaging after the jump.

Sleepwalker Minimate
Sleepwalker was the protagonist in his own 33 issue long series back in the early 1990s. He's given the usual superhuman abbilities, but his schtick were these substance altering eyebeams. Well, he looks cool, though. Customizer youbastards took his chance on this 90s misfit and his Sleepwalker Minimate came out pretty cool. Especially the colors work out great on the minimate. You can have a closer look and get a shot of his back after the jump.

Mr. T Minimate
There are few people with a more iconic look than Mr. T, so he makes an amazing toy. Actually, there is an official Mr. T Minimate back from the 3" times. But customizer eclipse did a contemporary 2" Mr. T Minimate to go with all the other releases. And boy does he look great. You see those socks? Darn that's cool! But what's really amazing here is that he's basicly a vanilla 'mate. You don't realize it on the first glimps because of all the details. See? Great, isn't it? You can view a lot more pics including him looking pretty angry and wearing yet another iconic outfit right after the jump.
