Madame Hydra Viper Minimate

Madame Hydra Viper Minimate
Go Team HYDRA! The worldwide subversive organization dedicated to global domination - what a claim! - is/was/will be led by Madame Hydra, in this case green haired Viper. Customizer Psyguy dedicated some of his time to come up with a stunning looking Madame Hydra Viper Minimate. The new Dawn hairpiece is irresistible to use here, and does look great on her. Some recoloring and a chest decal and there you go. Well done. You can read all about the recipe right after the jump.

ThreeA Nom de Plume Minimate

ThreeA Nom de Plume Minimate
Say hello to Nom de Plume, the faceless commander of the Dirty Deeds platoon in Ashley Wood's World War Robot series. Wood introduces a very iconic style in his post apocalyptic war scenario which customizer Punisher transforms very well in this ThreeA Nom de Plume Minimate. Punsiher's dirty style (may I say so?) goes very well with Wood's designs. Nice part selection and very cool scuplted pieces and a great color scheme. Go ahead and see a lot more pics right after the jump.

Red Lantern Guy Gardner Minimate

Red Lantern Guy Gardner Minimate
"Don't wuss out, boyscout!" Nobody talks to Sups like Guy Gardner. (Well, Bats does, too...) The former and current Green Lantern once was also wearing a Red Ring for a brief time and thus became a member of the Red Lantern Corps. Customizer Psyguy couldn't resist customizing a Red Lantern Guy Gardner Minimate and boy he did great! I especially like the way he managed to do Gardner's black jacket with the Mao style collar. The bright red and green come out great. Go ahead and read all about the recipe right after the jump.

Mighty Thor Minimate

Mighty Thor Minimate
We've seen a lot Thors lately and DST/AA added a lot of great details and sculptings to Odinson's latest releases. So, why customize a Thor? Well, if you've got customizer Les Koting's talents on sculpting, there's always a possibility to change someting, add more details and make any character look even more outstanding. See that Thor? Q.E.D. Here, he has not only added a cloth cape (cloth cape!), but sculpted a lot of parts including his chest armor and boy does that Mighty Thor Minimate look great. You can see a lot more pics in awesome poses right after the jump.

Gray Hulk Minimate

Gray Hulk Minimate
Before we saw a Red Hulk, we saw a green Hulk. And before that Hulk was gray. At least when we pick up Tim Sale and Joseph Loeb's Hulk: Gray story ark from 2003/4. A fan favorite and a great design. Might this design work as a Minimate? Sure does! At least when customizer Shamrock uses his great drawing skills to capture the look. And those hand painted details work fantastic on this Gray Hulk Minimate. Very well done once more. Some more shots and details right after the jump.

MotU Skeletor Minimate

MotU Skeletor Minimate

After a rather long hiatus, Bamf's back with a bang: here is yet another BAMF!Exclusive custom by Nervous. And it's no other than the Overload of Evil in Eternia: Skeletor! And boy does this MotU Skeletor Minimate look great! The color scheme is spot on and the parts selection is just great. And look at the details. You see those feet and hands? Great sculping, isn't it? Same for the armor. Really great custom of a great character. And it really does make you want Masters of the Universe Minimates, doesn't it?

MotU Zodac Minimate

MotU Zodac Minimate

Today, I proudly present an exclusive preview of one of Nervous' newest Minimate customs: a MotU Zodac Minimate! We've already seen his incredible take on good old Man-At-Arms and now he's back with another old school Masters of the Universe custom. His take on the original Cosmic Enforcer Zodac - not to be confused with his dark skinned and tribal tattoos wearing pupil Zodak - is once more top notch. The helmet looks just perfect and so does his chest armor. He even comes with this retro-futuristic laser pistol! And I really like the washed color scheme. It gives his whole line - yes, I consider it to become a whole line of customs - a darker touch. Somehow. Great custom. Now I'm really looking forward to the next guy in line. Maybe another BAMF-exclusive look.

Drive Minimate

Drive Minimate
The critically acclaimed movie Drive from 2011 follows the story of an unnamed stuntman and mechanic who moonlights as a getaway driver - which means trouble. Now you might think this Driver isn't the perfect character to be minimaterized. Well, think again, 'cause customizer Punisher did a pretty amazing job resembling the likeness with his Drive Minimate. "All of the blood stains are movie accurate", he says. Love the hammer. Go ahead and see a lot more pics right after the jump.

Guardians of the Galaxy Minimates

Guardians of the Galaxy Minimates
(For saying the following, I might get beat up by both, DC and Marvel fanboys/girls:) Meet the Guardians of the Galaxy - Marvel's answer to the Green Lantern Corps. Well, at least both are freedom fighters guarding the respective universe. Anyways. The Guardians are a very diverse group of beings and customizer Lobsterman outdid himself by creating these Guardians of the Galaxy Minimates who where a winner at CustomCon 30. You have to look at all these incredible detailed figures, including Yondu, Martinex, Charlie-27, Aleta, Major Victory, Starhawk and Nikki. Go ahead and have a closer look at a lot more pics right after the jump.

Kaine Minimate

Kaine Minimate
Kaine is the first success in cloning Jango Fett Peter Parker and the current Scarlet Spider. And he's a perfect example for a costume looking somehow meh in the comics, would look ridiculous in a real live movie, but is badass as an action figure. At least when customizer Les Koting is involved. His very own style works stunning on his Kaine Minimate and I just don't know where to start praising the details. Just go and have a closer look and see a lot more pics right after the jump.

Blue Falcon Minimate

Blue Falcon Minimate
Blue Falcon is the secret superhero identity of Big City millionaire Radley Crown and also master of Dynomutt the Dog Wonder. What a great Batman pastiche by the Hanna Barbera folks. Customizer Nervous seems to be deaply in love with those wacky characters (we've already seen his great Space Ghost custom) and brings you a great Blue Falcon Minimate. Some very clever re-used parts and some sculpting and here he is, the Not-So-Dark Knight. Go ahead and read all about the recipe and have a closer look right after the jump.

MotU Man-At-Arms Minimate

MotU Man-At-Arms Minimate
Duncan, Man-At-Arms to the royal Eternian Court, is also young Princce Adams' mentor and an incredibly skilled mechanic and inventor. While everybody has this image of him with his thick mustache, the original figure never had one. Strange. Customizer Nervous did include the mustache and his incredibly detailed MotU Man-At-Arms Minimate is justr wow! The color scheme is amazing and I really like the parts he used to resemble the very iconic look of that old school toy. Probably already one of the best customs of 2012. Masters of the Universe Minimates would be sweet, right? Go ahead and view another pic of Man-At-Arms right after the jump.

MotU Blade Minimate

MotU Blade Minimate
Blade was introduced in the 1987 film as a mercenary and skilled swordsman with a cool eye patch and some strange headgear including something looking like a metallic beard. Cool! Eclipse did a very nice job on transforming his look into a MotU Blade Minimate. The face is spot on and the part selection works brilliantly. I really like how he supplied Blade with lots of knives! You can view more pics right after the jump.

MotU Stratos Minimate

MotU Stratos Minimate
Stratos, Lord of the Birdmen of Avion, is one of the old school Masters of the Universe Heroic Warriors. A few years back customizer the Crippler translated his look into a very nice MotU Stratos Minimate. I especially like how his facial expression, his beard and the helmet resemble Stratos' look. I always liked him and thought he's badass, but never own a Stratos figure. Check out more pics of Stratos right after the jump.

MotU Tri-Klops Minimate

MotU Tri-Klops Minimate
Trydor Esooniux Scope, the inventor and swordsman better known as Tri-Klops was one of my favorite figures back in the days. I liked that three-eyed-helmet of his and that you could attach the sword to his back. I'm glad eclipse included this MotU Tri-Klops Minimate in his wave and he looks stunning. He got all the right pieces and his visor looks great. Masters of the Universe Minimates would be great, right? Have a closer look and see more pics right after the jump.

MotU Trap Jaw Minimate

MotU Trap Jaw Minimate
Trap Jaw, being evil & armed for combat, was one of the more creative releases we've seen in the second wave of Masters of the Universe figures back in 1983. What a great toy that was regarding the standard back in these days. It's out of the question that MotU characters would make great Minimates and so customizer eclipse worked on some of those figures. First up is Trap Jaw and I really like what he did. Clever use of parts and that right arm of his features interchangable weapons. Well done! Have a closer look and see more pics right after the jump.

Ron Swanson Minimate

Ron Swanson Minimate
"I have been developing the Swanson Pyramid of Greatness for years. It's a perfectly calibrated recipe for maximum personal achievement. Categories include: Capitalism, God's way of determining who is smart, and who is poor. Crying, acceptable at funerals and the Grand Canyon. Rage. Poise. Property rights. Fish, for sport only, not for meat. Fish meat is practically a vegetable."
Ladies and gentlemen: A Ron Swanson Minimate courtesy of Luke Porter. A quick close-up after the jump.

Future Foundation Minimates

Future Foundation Minimates
After the famous FF disbanded a new FF was formed: the Future Foundation. Now we've already seen an original release of Future Foundation Minimates, but some people weren't all smiles. Here you can see what a few tweaks here and there can do to an already existing product: customizer JBoogie made some minor changes on Reed (details on his uniform), gave Ben a new face and most importantly came up with a birlliantly designed non-phasing version of Sue. Well done! Go and have a closer look on every team member right after the jump.

Cobra Stinger Minimate

Cobra Stinger Minimate
G.I. Joe is a license a lot of people would love to see as Minimates. The large assortment of iconic charaters from this old school series - for those like me growing up in Europe the guys were known as "Action Force" - would work fantastic as those little 2" fellows. Customizer Nervous shows off what would be a great selling set: Cobra Stinger Minimate. The vehicle looks great as one of Cobra's Stingers and the Driver is a spot on example for a great army bulding Cobra Trooper character. Go have a closer look at Nervous' entire G.I. Joe line after the jump.
