Back in the early 80s the need for strange sci-fi meets horror meets trash movies was pretty big. Think of an alien species that places their eggs all over the universe and the when they hatch from the egg, take the forms of the native species they encounter. Thank you 80s. And thanks John Byrne for giving us the super heroine mermaid Marrina Smallwood. After being dead for decades she even made her come back lately.
