Day two of our Scott Pilgrim VS. Shamrock Week brings you Ramona's first evil ex boyfriend: Matthew Patel. Although he's the easiest to defeat, I really liked him a lot by the first time I read volume 1. The whole surreal and absurd music-battle is a good example for O'Malley's great sense of humor and style. I also enjoyed Satya Bhabha's performance in the movie. Shamrock perfectly captured the likeness of Patel in all his hipster/goth/pirate-style and was obviously inspired by both, his comic and movie appearance.
